Stephen Skidgel, Executive Vice President of Global Product Development, invited hosco.tv to the firm’s London office to discuss what exactly Tourico does and what it takes to work there. Skidgel, who has worked for Tourico since 2005 and has over 25 years of experience in the travel industry, explains that while Tourico may not be a household name due to its primarily business-to-business activity, it still takes 12,000 reservations a day!

How does it work? Tourico is a global travel service provider that contracts hotels and travel services in key destinations, puts a markup on them, and then distributes them through various channels. Skidgel also told hosco.tv all about Tourico Holiday Academy, which since January 2014 has been training, mentoring and deploying new Tourico employees around the globe.
