Located on the sea in the vibrant Jumeirah Beach Resort, this area has become a destination within Dubai. “This is where it’s all hip and happening,” Sietze Hoefnagel, Director of F&B for the hotel, explains. Overseeing 8 F&B outlets, Sietze says the most interesting aspect of his job is the constant change. From different guests to different projects to different tasks that must be accomplished, the environment is dynamic and continuously evolving. However, this also represents one of his biggest challenges. The diversity of guests – from backgrounds, cultures, and religions – creates varying demands, and Sietze and his team must be flexible and adaptable to the distinctive needs, as well as attentive to the general shifts in the market and new trends.
