As Director of Programs and Careers for Global Revenue Management, Frédéric Toitot’s role is to ensure
that the revenue management “job family” at AccorHotels is properly managed and coordinated, that communication
flows freely between its members, and, most importantly, that all revenue managers in the company are able
to develop their skills, receive proper training, and pursue a career path.
Frédéric started his career in
hotel operations as a Front Office Manager with a different hotel company and later joined AccorHotels at
its head office in Paris, where he worked on revenue management systems and projects. He eventually made
his way into human resources, overseeing career planning, recruitment, training, and certification of revenue
Frédéric says that revenue management is more critical than ever at AccorHotels today. Why? As its
hotels are more widely distributed, and with more and more actors selling its rooms, it has become crucial
to have someone in each hotel who is able to optimize revenue by selling the rooms at a good rate to the
right client at the right moment and for the right duration.
