The Leuven Institute for Ireland in Europe is a not for profit, non-governmental body that was established in Leuven, Belgium in 1984. The Institute’s mission is, “to research, design and deliver high quality, customised, residential education and training programmes for all sectors in Ireland and Northern Ireland aimed at maximising the opportunities presented by membership of the European Union.”
The Leuven Institute for Ireland is a monastery style building is located in the heart of the Leuven and offers a 10.000 m² private garden. It is situated 800 m from Leuven Christmas Market.
The bedrooms are spread out over the 3 wings of the building and overlook the green garden, the inner garden & courtyard with views on the 17th Century Chapel. All of the bedrooms are equipped with hardwood floors and have en-suite bathroom with shower. Some rooms have oak wood beams. The whole building, including the bedrooms and terraces offers free WiFI access.
A buffet breakfast is served daily in the hotel's common breakfast room. In the evening guests can enjoy a drink at the on-site bar.
The property has a private parking within the centre of the city and provide luggage storage for guest convenience. This accommodation can also serve as a venue for seminars, company presentations & parties.
