An elegant hotel in the quiet side of the city, combining old-fashioned attitudes to service and detail with sophisticated, modern comfort. Family run by husband and wife Laurence and Helen Beere since 2003, the hotel has held 3 red stars until 2018, when it has been awarded 4 stars.
Below the hotel sits the Olive Tree, one of Bath’s longest established independent restaurants. The 3 AA Rosette Olive Tree provides one of the best fine dining experiences Bath has to offer. Head chef Chris Cleghorn and his team put the abundance of local and seasonal ingredients to the best possible use, creating frequently-changing menus of beautiful, fresh and inventive dishes.
The daily operation is overseen by Roman Jarana Vidal for the restaurant and Magaly Etter for the hotel.
