Guest Services Agent (Belldesk)

The position is responsible to handle all porterage tasks and to participate in creating memorable experiences for guests.

What you will be doing:

  • Provides warm welcome, fond farewell and anticipation of guest needs throughout their stay
  • Assist guests in and out of vehicles, including assisting guests with loading/unloading luggage
  • Conducts room orientation when assisting guests to their room after completing check-in at Front Desk
  • Responsible for correct and timely delivery of newspaper to guest rooms
  • Where required, to deliver all requested items such as pens, paper, envelope etc in a timely manner
  • To assist guests with weighing luggage/s
  • Supports and monitors activities such as drop-off, pick-up of valet-parked vehicles and the taxi and hired car queue according to priorities
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds

Your experience and skills include:

Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum N levels or a Certificate from any field
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in the hotel industry or in customer service
  • Basic spoken and written English
