Summary of Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:

General Responsibilities:

  • Support and assist the Marcom Manager in maintaining a healthy relationship with internal and external customers.
  • Provide marketing communications and administrative support to the Marcom Manager. 
  • Responsible for conceptualisation of promotional collaterals (Sales, F&B, Front Desk, Room, Spa & Hotel). 
  • Design collateral including ads, posters, newsletters, banners, flyers, invitations, vouchers and coupons as needed. 
  • Liaise with suppliers on the production of design collaterals (F&B, Front Desk, Room, Spa & Hotel). 
  • Manage and maintain all graphic design files, including logos, photos and artworks.
  • Manage collateral archives
  • Raise Purchase Requisition through Materials Control for approval of printing, advertising and department collaterals. 
  • Maintain the online Ice Portal Media Library and hotel's Photo Gallery, ensuring the images are up-to-date at all times and uploading new images.  


Collaterals:

  • Coordinate and execute production of printed materials (guest collaterals, brochures, F&B promo brochures), following the specifications stipulated in the corporate ID manual.
  • Ensure the best priced quotations and raise purchase requisitions for all production and printing related services. 
  • Work closely with external printing vendors to ensure best quality met. 
  • Assist the various departments in their collateral production.
  • Ensure timely deliver of printed materials back to hotel. 
  • Ensure proper and timely display, distribution of printed materials for use to maximise awareness of planned promotion, event. 


Website and Social Media:

  • Timely and accurate website updates on information and promotions.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of hotel's social media (e.g. Facebook, Instagram) strategies so as to increase traffics/fanbase with interactive activities. 


Advertising:

  • Work with the Marcom Manager to brainstorm for ideas and strategies to maximise message of promotions through creative design works. 
  • Maximises advertising budget by ensuring that the hotel's creative message and media activities are consistent. 
  • Monitor and maintain media schedules and ensure artwork are approved and transmitted to the print house in time. 


Photography:

  • Be the official photographer for the hotel to cover any internal and external events when phototaking is required. 
  • Maintain photo album of images. 
  • Conduct internal photoshoot to capture images required for the use of developing creatives for small-scale food promotions.


Qualifications:

We are looking for a well-organized and creative candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is able to display a “passion for perfection” and work in a dynamic environment. In addition, the candidate should possess:

  • Minimum Diplomas in any discipline, preferably Marketing/Mass Communications. 
  • Expertise in professional design and layout programs including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel & Powerpoint.
  • Photography skills preferred. 
  • Preferably 2 years of relevant experience. 
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with written and oral proficiency in English.
  • Passionate, hardworking and well organised with power to prioritize and multi-task. 
  • Flair for creativity.
  • Ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Good liaison with all other department team members
