Summary of the role:

Are you the next Director of Sales Specialist BI (Senior Sales Representative GG10) we are looking for?

  • You will work closely with Regional Vice Presidents of Sales (RVPs) and Director of Sales (DOS) and act as a product expert to both aid Amadeus’s field sales team in closing deals as well as sell-directly to prospects.
  • You will be responsible for identifying high value prospects, setting appointments, demonstrating Amadeus capabilities and ultimately, closing new business.
  • You will be results-driven, ambitious and a self-starter who excels with autonomy and strives to make an impact.
  • You will be a strong strategic thinker, highly organized, able to thrive in a fast paced and team oriented environment and have a passion for sales and the hotel industry.


In this role you’ll:

  • Build and maintain expert level knowledge of Amadeus Business Intelligence products from the client perspective and have ability to demo product features to show value and drive sales.
  • Partner and lead sales team members and sales team leaders to enable their success by setting sales plans, formulating go-to market-strategies and preparing materials, both actively leading and ensuring that calls are made and converted to sales.
  • Identify new business opportunities individually and/or by partnering with the field sales team, including creation and follow-through of ‘hunting lists’ of prospects for field sales and inside sales.
  • Understand sales targets and formulate plans to ensure market by market achievement of goals.
  • Lead marketing activities with sales team partnership including, in-market Lunch and Learns, webinars, and customer meetings.
  • Analyze sales results daily, weekly, and monthly to assess results and determine actions to overcome shortfalls.
  • Continually analyze sales pipeline to identify key opportunities and provide the necessary sales support to close key deals
  • Ability to travel 25-30% of the time.


About the ideal candidate:

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED required.  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Relevant Work Experience:  
    • Minimum 5 years of direct B2B enterprise business development experience up to C-Level clients with proven performance in new customer acquisition.
    • 2+ years of experience with Amadeus’s Business Intelligence solutions: Demand360, Agency360+, and RevStrat360 preferred.
    • Strong relationship skills, including the ability to listen to customers and sales reps, and effectively drive meetings with a diverse cross-functional team.
    • Ability to quickly analyze and synthesize information to develop actionable strategic plans and make decisions and tradeoffs optimized to meet business demands and customer needs.
    • Results-oriented individual who can establish a rapport with sales personnel via the phone and in person to develop opportunities for revenue expansion within their accounts.
    • Self-directed; needs minimal supervision on work tasks.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presenting to large, diverse audiences.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Business Understanding:
    • 2+ years of experience with Amadeus' Business Intelligence solutions:
      • Demand360, Agency360+, and RevStrat360 preferred
  • Skills:
    • Computing:
      • Experience with Microsoft Office, Dell Laptops
      • PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, Microsoft Office, Outlook
    • Language: English
