*Avoids unsightly hazards and complies with all local regulations and codes.
Ensures cleanliness of all work areas and protects the surroundings when executing duties.
Performs repairs and maintenance works and engineering operations to meet customers’ expectations.
Ensure energy conservation measures are in place.
Ensure fire, life and safety systems are operational.
Performs emergency procedures relating to fire, life and safety; e.g., such as attending to fire alarms, lift rescue.
Ensure timely completion of work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
Basic knowledge in managing fire main systems & associated pumps, sprinkler systems and equipment, with knowledge of fire, pressure vessel, electrical codes and occupational safety codes.
Understanding for main/secondary drainage (plumbing) systems, electrical power distribution systems.
Minimum two to four years work experience as Technician/Tradesman in a hotel or in a similar large building/complex with central plant; or
Minimum two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or Equivalent combination of education and experience
Essential knowledge of Travel and Hotel industry.
