About the Job:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated UAE National to join Business Excellence team at the Burj Al Arab.  You will be will be responsible for monitoring customer satisfaction and managing written guest feedback and supporting the Business Excellence Manager in monitoring business performance, managing business excellence training, improvement projects and excellence awards submission.

Your key duties include:
  • Compiling guest satisfaction data (CSI), including reports, analysis, communication, follow up and recognition
  • Managing the guest feedback management processes and associated standards (analysis, guest correspondence, follow up etc)
  • Supporting with tasks related to mystery guest assessments, telephone test calls and emotional engagement audits, including reports, analysis, follow up and recognition
  • Assisting with driving colleague awareness of Business Excellence and quality related principles
  • Assisting with improvement projects (IMPROVE) to identify root cause and eliminate recurring problems/prevent problems from occurring in different areas around the hotel
  • Remaining up to date with the latest Quality and Business Excellence industry trends.
  • Actively seeking new ways to continually improve the procedures in the Business Excellence department
  • Co-operating with Management and following policies and procedure to promote a healthy and safe workplace
  • Reporting any safety concerns to management in order to maintain the highest standard of safety and hygiene at all times.
  • Actively seeking ways to minimize consumption of energy and wastage of resources (i.e. recycling), as well as financial resources of the department
  • Grooming and developing colleagues through effective transfer of quality management and business excellence knowledge, skills and competencies.

About You:
In order to be considered for this role, you must have a qualification equivalent to Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Statistics or Quality Management.  You will have a minimum of 1 year previous experience in a service orientated environment preferably with customer service orientation.

It is essential that you have good command of the English language (spoken and written) and you should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
