About the job

As Banquet Sales Manager at Carlton Downtown Hotel, you would be responsible for selling and executing events for our meeting rooms. Delivering outstanding guest service and financial profitability through each event. Direct and administer all catering and event operations to include, but not limited to, guest service, soliciting new accounts, negotiating contracts, marketing, planning, event execution, cost control implementation, systems management, budget and forecasting.

About you

• Bachelor's degree and/or Hotel Management degree/diploma and/or minimum one year as a Sales Representative and/or equivalent industry experience
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and or relevant computer applications required
• Opera Sales & catering knowledge an asset
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
