Job Title: Senior HR Data Analyst
The Senior HR Data Analyst is a key contributor to the success of Carnival Cruise Line by providing technical expertise and analytical support to the organization's Human Resources teams. This individual will work with management to develop, track and analyze recommendations for important strategic initiatives. This position supports the HR Analytics team in creating reports, dashboards and HR effectiveness metrics that help business make data driven decisions. It is imperative that this position be able to not only draw meaningful conclusions from data sets, but also be able to effectively communicate results to key stakeholders.
- Autonomously applies advanced technical and analytical skills to examine large amounts of data and transform them into informative qualitative and quantitative HR metrics
- Leads key strategic initiatives and efforts independently as part of the greater HR strategic vision
- Updates HR reporting metrics, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses
- Liaises with HR business, HRIS and IT on defining functional requirements, design, system testing, and deployment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Industrial/Organizational Psychology
- 5-7 years’ experience related to the role
- HR experience, HR Systems experience (Oracle HCM is critical as well as Lawson, Cornerstone, Taleo, Successfactors, Workday)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Proficiency using SQL, Tableau expertise, data warehouse knowledge or relevant BI tools experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
