Job description

CATALONIA HOTELS & RESORTS, international hotel group, is looking for a Maintenance Technician for its new hotel in Amsterdam.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for managing the maintenance services in the hotel.

The essential functions and responsibilities are the following:
• Planning of maintenance works
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance works following the established rules and policies
• Repair damages and ensure they are resolved
• Responsible for maintaining the fire protection system and ensuring that the facilities comply with all rules and regulation
• Keep all the equipment and facilities in good repair
• Diagnose the condition of the facilities and report to the Hotel Manager
• Promote and perform cost saving initiatives and Energy Efficiency plans
• Control inventory and spare parts under the hotel manager approval


• Minimum 4 years’ as a Maintenance Technician
• Studies in engineering / Technician school certification or other similar studies
• Certificate holder in Air conditioning and refrigeration or electrical or civil or mechanical is preferred
• Key skills are: leadership, initiative and proactivity
