We have grown massively the last years and looking forward we are aiming to be industry leaders soon. With our main office in the heart of vibrant Portobello market and a 24/7 Reception Desk for all our guest in Earls Court, you will be working in a fast-paced and vibrant role!

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead City Relay’s plans for business growth and expansion through building a genuine pipeline of prospective clients, working in accordance with our company procedures, talking to prospects and managing our CRM data.

Your main functions will be to develop City Relay property portfolio and lead the Business Development department. The below examples constitute a selection of such activities, however, it is not exhaustive:

Ensure the growth and success of a varied portfolio of City Relay properties by building awareness of City Relay in the industry by contacting existing and new clients.
Present our offers to potential clients giving them all relevant information, promoting our competitive advantage and be ready to respond to any questions.
Manage the conversion of our inbound leads, understanding the ins and outs of our service, keeping the responsiveness at impressively high levels.
Review existing automated email templates and create new ones when needed.
Schedule and present in client acquisition meetings and follow up post-meeting with the Business Development Executive.
Assist in managing the logistics of contracts with new clients.
Partner with City Relay marketing and yield management team to align with client needs, use cases and success stories while overseeing the on-boarding of the new clients.
Drive outstanding rates of renewal, expansion and advocacy in City Raley's corporate client base.
Lead the new B2B sales approach by building relations with potential companies and third parties.

About you

The ideal candidate will ideally have the following skills:
5+ years work experience in Sales and Business Development
Graduated with a BSc or MSc degree or equivalent
Confident, with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Professional and able to build relations
Strong negotiating skills; ability to influence and persuade others
Organised, able to plan and be methodical - proactive when necessary
Resilient and calm under pressure
Attention to detail

We’re no one trick pony however! As a market leader in operational efficiency, we offer a number of other hospitality clients and short-term rental companies a tailored B2B service that includes housekeeping, freshly pressed linen, the provision of luxury amenities, property maintenance and check-ins - a reliable and convenient way to ensure every guest has a hotel-like experience.

Short-term rental companies across London no longer have to rely on different contractors to deliver operational support, we provide a one-stop shop that fully integrates with our clients’ brands and business objectives.
