Job description

We are a rapidly growing vacation rental company based in London venturing also in property acquisition, development, and management. We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced manager to join our team as Xero Bookkeeper to develop and maintain accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities.

Main responsibilities:
Monthly/Quarterly bookkeeping duties
Management accounts
Preparation of VAT returns
Assist with year-end reporting
Processing of daily transactions uploaded to ReceiptBank to Xero
Accurate Upload of Accounts Payable Invoices and Receipts
Expense and cash reconciliations
Creation of quotes and invoices
Credit control


Person Specifications:
A minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role
Working towards a recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA)
Experience handling a high volume of invoices
Experience with Xero Software
Good Excel skills
Strong communication skills, particularly when interacting with budget holders -
Excellent time management, communication and coordination skills
Ability to work autonomously and get things done in a timely manner
