Are you a passionate and experienced chef who likes good food?

We are currently looking for a chef de cuisine for a Hotel located in the area of Paris - Charles de Gaulle airport. The F&B division includes: Breakfasts room; restaurant (170 covers) international buffet (lunch and diner); conference and event rooms; room service.

This is a casual and urban restaurant concept. International cuisine with multicultural flavors, dishes and garnishes.
- Management of a motivated and dynamic team
- Set goals and be responsible for the daily operation of the kitchen
- Menu development and planning
- Compile all food orders, ensuring that food standards and costs are within set budget
- Ensure that stocks, deliveries and wastages are controlled and recorded in accordance with company and food standards.
- Keep records of food production activities and supplier information as required.
- Ensure that health, hygiene and food safety standards are maintained in accordance with company policy and laws.
- Evaluate employee performance and recognize potential training needs.
- Keep an eye on food trends
- Individual and collective development of the brigade (training, techniques, etc.)

About you

Required profile
- Experience of Chef de Cuisine / Head Chef / Executive Chef leading a brigade of 10-15 min
- Culinary training / diploma
- Certification on HACCP standards and other food hygiene rules
- Experience in preparing quality, varied and balanced buffet menus.
- Passionate about your job
- Ability to manage costs, negotiate and build relationships with suppliers
- Experience managing, working with and mentoring a young and dynamic team
- Positive and motivated attitude
