Sales Manager – branded international hotel

Location: Belgium
Background: Branded; International Group; full service
Experience: Leisure and Corporate
Languages requirements: Dutch and English. Good understanding of French is a good addition.
Type: Corporate International Branded Hotel
Property: 100+ bedrooms; conference and events spaces
Salary: up to €50k basic + bonus and great benefits
Position: Full time

Job Purpose
- 360° management of the sales strategy and maximisation of the revenues for the hotel.
- Job responsibilities and requirements:
- Reporting to the Regional Director of Sales
- New business development skills i.e. identifying new business opportunities from core source markets and prospecting to gain business.
- Key Account management relationship skills and experience – understanding of how to maintain existing business through key account relationship management.

Candidate Profile
- Hardworking, self-motivated and prepared to take a hands-on role;
- Commercially aware;
- Persistent attitude when faced with obstacles;
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills;
- Be a team player – ability to work with colleagues, supporting team objectives and goals.
- Able to build strong and lasting client relationships and partnership
- New business development experience
- Work Related Experience
- Minimum 2 years within Sales Manager position ideally in a Hotel with MICE clientele
- Computer literate with experience of working with Excel, Word
