Shaner has an immediate opportunity for a Sales Manager to join our team at our Courtyard by Marriott and the Fairfield Inn and Suites located in St. Augustine, Florida. The Courtyard by Marriott St. Augustine blends rich texture, captivating design and the most modern conveniences in the countrys oldest city. The Sales Manager will be responsible for strategically soliciting and developing new accounts, maintaining excellent rapport with existing accounts and successfully promoting the hotel to the community. The ideal candidate must have sales experience with heavy emphasis in SMERF, Corporate Market Segments as well as catering sales experience. The Sales Manager must be able to develop and implement strategies with the assistance from the Director of Sales in an effort to exceed all sales goals. We are seeking an organized, personable and business-minded individual with strong communication skills
- A minimum of four years of experience in a full-service or larger select service hotel in a sales role.
- Knowledge of business practices and sales techniques.
- Strong and effective communication skills (oral and written).
- Great computer skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
