Shaner Hotels has an amazing opportunity for a Food & Beverage Managerat our Madeira Beach Courtyard! Our Courtyard St. Petersburg Clearwater/Madeira Beach has everything you have been searching for in a destination hotel—captivating water views, an outdoor pool and terrace and inviting spaces where you can work or relax. We offer 91 modern and well-appointed rooms, which include plush bedding, 39" LCD TVs and free Wi-Fi. The hotel also features a well-equipped fitness center, special event spaces and The Bistro, your destination for a great breakfast, dinner or sunset cocktails on the outdoor pool terrace.


The Food & Beverage Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Bistro and/or additional food outlets, in accordance with Marriott Courtyard standards. A minimum of 3 years of experience in restaurant and/or culinary management is required, as well as knowledge of all food and beverages served (product, cost control, alcohol awareness). Some duties will include: ensuring food safety standards are met, ordering & inventory controls, cooking when necessary, participating in daily meetings, scheduling & training associates, coaching & counseling, monitoring performance, preparing & submitting weekly payroll/tips and anticipating & responding to our guests needs. We are seeking a hands-on, organized leader with a spirit to serve.

  • 3+ years of related experience; Marriott and/or Courtyard Bistro experience a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of food & beverage service and preparation.
  • Ability to supervise and motivate a team.
  • Solid communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and split shifts.
