JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Banqueting Service Manager you supervise all aspects of a banquet or event. You are responsible for the disciplining of the banquet staff members. Aside from orchestrating activities among different departments, you ensure all customers have a satisfying dining experience.

Your day-to-day:

- Guide banquet waiters in set up of tables and place setting
- Supervise events and team members
- Educate and train team members
- Promote teamwork & quality service through daily coordination with other departments
- Ensure overall sanitation and cleanliness of the work areas, banquet rooms and storage areas
- Provide unique & creative ideas to enhance meeting and group experiences
- Be responsible for the proper usage of all equipment & furniture in the banquet section
- Attend weekly F&B meeting
- Inspect meeting rooms
- Deal with complaints and provide excellent customer service

Requirements

- Previous experience in similar job role or experience as Banquet supervisor.
- Leadership skills to motivate and manage team
- Confidence to liaise with head of departments
- Good communication skills to find out exactly what your clients want
- Personal charm to greet organisers, hosts and vips
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- A cool head to deal with last minute requests and problems
- A can-do attitude
