JOB DESCRIPTION
Manage Human Resources training and development programs for hotel team members. Promote a positive team culture while ensuring our guests experience is unique and brings the brand to life. At Crowne Plaza we look for people who are dynamic, confident and ambitious; people who excel in their role and help our guests succeed too.

Your day-to-day:

- Assist in the creation of the training budget and control expenses
- Identify future and current training needs
- Draw an overall and individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations of each staff member
- Create and maintain an annual training plan
- Make available a monthly training calendar to all employees
- Deploy a wide variety of training methods
- Tailor internal training programs (induction and orientation sessions)
- Develop, foster & organize IHG cross training within the hotel
- Support and administer the team member satisfaction survey
- Oversee maintenance of accurate and up-to-date personnel files and records for all employees regarding trainings and development aspects
- Develop creative ways to inspire and motivate team members to provide guests with a unique experience
- Make time to interact with guests to solicit feedback and build relationships to understand how team members can increase guest satisfaction
-Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and brand in the local community and promote team member involvement.
- Monitor and evaluate training programs’ effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them
- Conduct annual HR compliance/standards self-audit

Requirements

- Proven work experience as a training manager
- Track record in designing end executing successful training programs
- Familiarity with traditional & modern training methods
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to plan, muti-task and manage time effectively
- Strong written and record keeping ability for reports
