We are looking for a passionate Commis Chef that just loves to cook to join our popular, fast paced and versatile Lovedale Bar & Restaurant team today!
If you''re keen to create on trend menus showcasing the Hunter Valley''s delicious local produce and integrate award winning craft beers and ciders from the Sydney Brewery next door. If you want to learn tricks of the trade from our amazing Lovedale Sous Chef & Executive Chef Craig Robertson, and want to work with a tight-knit, creative team - then take the next step in your culinary career and apply now!
Ideally, you''ll have a formal Commercial Cookery Certification, 6 -12 months experience in a commercial kitchen with grill experience, have strong organisational skills, be a team player and have a collaborative approach to work and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and an ability to prioritise your workload. Carrying and lifting heavy objects are role requirements; hence you''ll be comfortable when handling kitchen/food objects, products and utensils and ensure compliance with HACCP as well as policies and procedures. You''ll have strong communication skills, have good attention to detail and be effective at time management, and also be available to work nights, weekends and/or public holidays.
