Crowne Plaza London-Kensington hotel is an elegant 162 bed- roomed, 4* Deluxe hotel which has recently undergone a fantastic renovation. Crowne Plaza London- Kensington facilities include a boutique style lobby, a private Club Lounge, an amazing restaurant, a lively bar, five conference rooms and a fitness centre

About the role
 
Our Luggage Porters Work 3 Days on 3 Days Off – Both Day and Evening Shifts.
 
We are looking for a Luggage Porter who is warm and friendly, has a can-do attitude and puts our guests at the heart of everything we do.
 
Experience as a Porter is desirable however, it is more important that we find the right person. If you have a winning smile, we can train you to accomplish anything.
 
Your responsibilities:
  • Welcome the guests to the hotel in a warm and friendly manner and assist them with their luggage going to and from the front desk, and escorting guests to their rooms as required.
  • Deliver messages, packages, newspapers and flowers for guests, and undertake any other requests to ensure their comfort
  • Store and receive luggage as needed; issues completed claim checks to guests when storing luggage and keeps the luggage storage room clean and tidy
  • Assist in other departments such as room service and housekeeping when requested by management.

  • Someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent spoken and written command of the English language, other languages are beneficial
All applicants must be able to work varying shifts including night, weekends and bank holidays.
