Our Apart-Hotel The Lincoln Suites is based in the heart of London – Holborn and opened in August 2021. The property has 54 apartments and is located not far away from the main tourist attractions such as the Covent Garden, Soho and the South Bank. The hotel has serviced studio apartments which come fully equipped with everything our guests will need to make themselves settle in and feel at home – a comfy bed, an efficiently designed kitchenette and space to unwind as well as laundry facilities on site.

Our FRONT OFFICE team will be the face of the hotel and will make sure our guests fully enjoy their stay with us. We are currently recruiting for a Night Receptionist who love looking after our guests when the majority of us are asleep.

What will I be doing?

  • Carry out the minimum of 2 security checks at regular intervals with special emphasis on security, fire and safety.
  • Check hotel guests in and out and assist with luggage when required.
  • To operate the hotel switchboard and deal with all internal and external calls, according to procedure
  • Ensure all revenue is correctly charged and monies are securely kept.
  • To ensure the total cash takings balance with the PMS settlements report and the receipt sheet and to complete the banking according to the correct procedure.
  • Ensure a sound knowledge of the local area regarding history, places of interest and special events and where further information can be obtained.
  • Actioning of early morning calls at the time specified and to the standards laid down.
  • Cleaning of areas as requested
  • To have a thorough knowledge of and adherence to the law with regards to the following company regulations: -
      • Fire regulations and night time evacuation procedures
      • Health and Safety regulations
      • First aid procedures
  • To establish a friendly and helpful attitude to all guests and staff
  • To ensure full co-operation between the Night Team, and all other departments
  • Occasional working during day time

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience within a similar role within a hotel environment
  • Strong communicator and team management skills
  • Ability to work night shifts
  • Fluency in English
  • Part or Full Time
