At DAYS, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Pastry/Bakery Intern eligible to work in Paris, France to join our small, community-focused café. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our team, learn the art of pastry and bagel production, and gain valuable insight into the operations of a small, independent café.
As a Pastry/Bakery Intern, you'll be responsible for preparing and baking our daily pastries and bagels with precision and care. You will also help prepare and organize the kitchen each morning, ensuring everything is in place for a smooth start to the day.
Beyond baking, you will have the chance to learn essential kitchen management skills, such as inventory tracking, organization, and daily café operations. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, and we’re excited to find someone eager to contribute and grow with us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake pastries for the day.
- Boil and bake bagels according to our recipes and daily needs.
- Set up and arrange the pastries in the customer-facing display, ensuring everything looks inviting.
- Help with organizing the kitchen to ensure everything runs smoothly in the morning.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, following food safety standards.
- Work with the team to ensure high-quality, consistent results.
- Work early morning shifts (6:00 AM - 10:00 AM)

- You have a basic understanding of kitchen safety and cleanliness, and you always prioritize maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
