This Creative – Retail Design Assistant position requires someone with a deep understanding in retail design and retail business, as well as a keen eye for trends. We are looking for a profoundly engaged and passionate Creative assistant to influence new creative and strategic thinking for a diverse market.
This Creative assistant will play an integral role in inspiring and nurturing county licensee and retailer to creative compelling retail design solutions via knowledge of consumer insights and relevant trends. For this role, he/she will need to work closely with the country offices to come up with guidelines and creative plans to support up-coming events. He/she will also be integral in planning, design and execute in-store events and promotions. In addition, he/she will also need to check quality of retail execution that meets Disney standard.
Your role:
  • This Retail Designer role will help to define creative in retail design for the whole of Southeast Asia Region.
  • Control and protect the quality of Disney retail execution and in-store events.
  • Work with the distinct interior features of each store to maximize creative, visual, space and consumer experience.
  • Develop creative proposal on upcoming regional events.
  • Work closely with Regional Creative team to come up with trend on retail and visual merchandising featuring multiple product categories for the region.
  • Creative, out-of-the-box visionary capable of bringing forth innovative ideas and concepts that deliver strong results.
  • Strong team player: possessing team synergy skills with a high level of enthusiasm in collaborating in cross functional teams.
  • Exceptional eye for detail and strong oral and written communication skills with English proficiency.
  • Equipped with excellent project management, analytic skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter and able to motivate others.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in support of overall brand strategies.
  • Proven ability to interact effectively and professionally with clients and external contractors.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field.
  • 4-6 years of industry experience.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative experience.
  • Proficient and with strong working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Google Apps, PowerPoint Excel, Adobe CC, CAD and 3D Software’s on PC and MAC.
