Job description

The Lead Business Analyst (BA) works to identify, plan, and coordinate a set of related business analysis activities, on large or complex projects, and to manage their interdependencies in support of specific business strategies. Experience supporting Ticketing systems and related ticketing operations in the theme park industry or related ticketing industry experience. The Lead BA engages with the business on behalf of the IT project team, and provides leadership, expertise, and technical guidance. The Lead BA defines business requirements and business processes that IT can use to design and develop solutions for complex projects. The Lead BA is also responsible for coaching and mentoring other Business Analysts as well as leading the application of best practices in business analysis. The Lead BA leads business engagement and stakeholder management activities, and ensures the required outcomes are built, tested, and delivered. *Team supports: “park ticketing and admission control” or “venue ticketing” or “guest ticket purchases and redemptions”

Responsibilities
  • Provides leadership, technical guidance and oversight.
  • Supports pre-project business problem elicitation, feasibility and business case definition for large or complex projects.
  • Gathers business requirements for large or complex projects.
  • Performs process modeling for large or complex projects.
  • Ensures requirements traceability through testing.
  • Leads business change management for large or complex projects.
  • Provides project management support.
  • Leads pre-project business problem elicitation, feasibility and business case definition.

Basic Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Ticketing systems and related ticketing operations in the theme park industry or related ticketing industry experience.
  • Scrum Master certification
  • Significant experience (7+ years) as a Business Analyst across a number of large, complex projects.
  • Significant experience (3-5+ years) leading Agile project activities
  • Extensive experience in business analysis techniques, such as information gathering methods, requirements documentation, user stories, process modeling and process mapping.
  • Strong understanding of all stages in a project lifecycle and delivery approaches, e.g. waterfall, agile, etc.
