Job description

The E-Commerce Manager will support the development and execution of detailed business cases, operational planning and launch work plans, including change management processes, in collaboration with executives across the organization. This role will focus on leveraging and/or extending existing operations and capabilities from across the Walt Disney Company extending them into new retail/merchandise selling ventures with a focus on delivering brand elevating experiences to Disney guests along with positive financial impact. The Revenue Initiative Manager will focus on business growth. Responsibilities
  • Focus on several initiatives or opportunities at a time as a deep dive support, including guidance and contributions to data gathering, business case development, prioritization, liaising with stakeholders, creating the vision statement, and defining the roadmap for successful implementation
  • Opportunities would include: developing and launching a new CRM/Loyalty program, cultivate and grow merchandise subscription programs, determine strategy and tactics for personalization on-site and via marketing, identify and develop partnerships within and outside of The Walt Disney Company.
  • Develop strategies and programs to cultivate additional revenue and value from our current selling channels (site and mobile app), focused on developing a culture of testing and measuring and continually finding ways to improve the guest experience and financial impact for Disney Store
  • Grow the Disney Store Amazon business, working across the team to optimize the assortment, marketing, and operations
  • Monitor and analyze digital trends within and outside of the retail industry, identifying high potential opportunities for the Disney Store business, including new business models, extensions of current operations
  • Become a trusted partner across the business leadership team in building vision, strategy and operations that support our growth targets
  • Provide analytics and business judgment to solve business problems, build business cases, and develop key communication materials to support key messages
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and communication as it relates to requirements, scoping, budget estimates, and delivery
  • Support the development and execution against formal processes to ensure a pipeline of new projects are continuously being identified, evaluated
  • Evaluate and provide input to opportunity business cases and work with operators and stakeholders to move initiatives through stage gate process
  • Provide strategic thought leadership to advise and structure opportunities, identify themes and make connections of opportunities across functional areas
  • Develop executive-level presentations, program updates, set targets, timelines; interact with senior executive leadership
  • Support the development and execution of detailed plans on key initiatives across multiple business functions, including but not limited to Ecommerce, Store Experience, Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, Buying, and Planning to ensure successful implementation
  • Support and develop business cases; manage tools and templates; support implementation; SOPs and procedures for sustainability
  • Build a work environment that promotes teamwork, partnership, recognition, mutual respect, performance feedback / management, and employee satisfaction
  • Promote cross Line of Business and Division culture through actions
  • Understand which stakeholders to engage and each stage of projects to ensure success of programs
Basic Qualifications• Experience in Business Development, Management Consulting, Investment Banking
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Strong problem solving skills such as prioritization, critical thinking and hypothesis development
• Ability to think pragmatically, not just theoretically, and drive execution of concepts
• Outstanding multi-tasking and teamwork capabilities
• Outstanding visual presentation skills and ability to articulate business value and impact to executive leadership Preferred Qualifications

Required Education
  • BA/BS required
