About the job

Reporting directly into the Global Sales Director, the main duty of the Sales coordinator is to support the Corporate team with their various tasks by keeping schedules and providing feedback, documentation and information. 


  • Ensure a positive, consistent and accurate representation of Dorchester Collection corporate sales function
  • Be the sales ambassador to all staff & customers, offering support and fielding enquiries as required; in person, over the telephone and via e-mail, responding with the appropriate correspondence
  • Follow up with each regional sales office to ensure sales reports are received and distributed on time
  • Copy and check regional sales office expenses ready for GDoS approval
  • Arrange postal mailings, pack boxes, liaise with courier, ship materials to regional sales offices, hotels and abroad
  • Raise purchase orders, ensure invoices are signed by the GDoS and given to accounts in a timely fashion
  • Complete registrations and ensure each Dorchester Collection hotel participant has their appointment schedule and entry badge for exhibitions such as ILTM, IMEX
  • Attend gift exhibitions, meet potential suppliers, present a selection of possible gifts at different price points, keep count of stock and ensure regular supply of gifts for sales purposes
  • Pull statistics from Delphi, Opera Vision and BI databases, analyze for the purpose of strategic goal setting, reporting and monthly production reports
  • Asist Regional Sales Directors (RSO’s) with research using Wealth X for prospecting purposes
  • Analysis of group leads generated through the meeting planner tool CVENT, pulling reports and analysing statistics
  • Preparing bonus templates for RSO’s and calculating results at the end of the year
  • Coordinate phone and video conference calls and book meeting rooms
  • Assist in the coordination of Dorchester Collection global events
  • Draft agenda points and meeting minutes when appropriate, and distribute to relevant bodies
  • Coordinate the sales and marketing content on the company intranet
  • Assist GDoS in completing special projects as required
  • Carry out any other administrative support duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Coordinate DC collateral quarterly orders (mini brochures, bookmarks, social media cards, gift cards and DCDC collateral)  for the hotels with hotel Marketing Managers
  • Coordinate DC collateral orders for the corporate office such as, business cards, headed paper and bags, with artwork/print approval with DC Marketing Manager
  • Raise purchase orders for the marketing team
