Job Summary and Responsibilities PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
2.Establishes system specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; designing system infrastructure.
3.Establishes system by planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of PC and server hardware, software, and operating and system management systems.
4.Maintains system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting system hardware, software, networks and operating and system management systems; escalating application problems to vendor.
5.Upgrades system by conferring with vendors and services; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements and new software.
6.Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
7.Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems.
8.Performing routine audits of systems and software.
9.Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes and responsibility for documenting the configuration/changes.
10.Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
11.Troubleshooting any reported problems.
12.Ensuring that the system and network infrastructure is up and running.
13.Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
14.Other Duties as assigned.
