Edsa Shangri-La, Manila is the only five-star deluxe city-resort convention hotel in Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila''s second largest business district.  Adjacent to two major shopping complexes in the country - Shangri-La Plaza Mall and SM Megamall.  It is seven-kilometres from the Makati Central Business District and 13 kilometers from the international airport.

 

DUTIES

 

To maintain a high standard of all food preparation, service and hygiene in their respective Kitchens, according to the standards required by the management. Takes responsibility in Banquet menu with full knowldege of large scale banquets.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Degree in Hospitality Management/Culinary
  • With knowledge in Local Filipino, Asian and Western cuisine.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a five star international class hotel, preferably with minimum 1 year experience in a similar capacity
  • Preferably computer literate & with knowledge in Finance
  • Fluent in oral & written English
  • A self-starter, displays initiative & is creative/open-minded
  • A team leader/builder, customer & people-oriented
