JOB DETAILS:
- HOST: a luxury resort in Southern Thailand
- PROGRAM: Hospitality Internship (Practical Training)
- POSITIONS: F&B Service, Bar, and Sommelier intern
- START: February, March, or April 2021
- LENGTH: 6-12 months
- PREFERRED LANGUAGES: Russian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greeting and seating guests
- Presenting the menu and wine list
- Offer menu recommendations upon request
- Setting up the tables and breaking them down
- Taking orders
- Use of POS system
- Serving food and drinks
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Communication with the kitchen
- Handling complaints
- Arranging and maintaining the cleanliness of the bar and restaurant area
- Participate in pre- and after service meetings
- Deliver checks and settle payments

Requirements

– enrolled student (senior year for a Bachelor’s Degree, Post- Graduate Degree, Master’s Degree) 'OR' recently graduated student within 24-month of graduation (accepted major of study [not limited to]: hospitality & hotel management, business management, marketing, international business, restaurant management)
– at least 18 years old
– college/university endorsement required
– available for a period of 6 -12 months starting February, March, or April 2021
– fluent in English
– preferred languages: English, Russian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese
