The Role:

 

EF High School Exchange Year is seeking a Program Development Manager to focus on recruiting and growing our team of local coordinators in strategic locations through collaboration with our region teams. This is a multi-faceted role, and great for an individual who possesses a true entrepreneurial spirit and identifies as a self-starter and an “outside of the box” thinker.

 

Expectations:

You will work directly with a variety of stakeholders to recruit applicants for the International Exchange Coordinator (IEC) role. This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Collaborate with staff and analyze data to identify and refine target areas for growth
  • Manage a pipeline of leads, both incoming as well as self-generated
  • Partner with region team staff and field-based Regional Coordinators to identify quality host families and alumni who could take the next step to become coordinators
  • Employ varied lead generation methods, such as referrals, social media outreach, etc. to expand sourcing for our base of coordinators
  • Inspire potential candidates through engaging conversations, and discern whether they are quality candidates for the coordinator role
  • Achieve outlined benchmarks
  • Liaise with specific Recruitment, Screening and Operations staff as needed
  • Commit to exceptional customer service, including professional phone/email etiquette and timely task turnaround
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality with applicant information


During this role’s peak season, staff vacation may be limited and extended weekday or weekend hours may be necessary. Flex scheduling may be necessary to reach candidates.

Requirements

  • Self-starter who is resourceful and can work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and organization
  • Proficient in the use of Excel functions and formulas
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Salesforce CRM experience a plus
