Key Tasks
To keep accounting records which accurately reflect all financial transactions of the Hotels, which are in accordance with Company Policy and meet statutory requirements. To review financial reporting service this assists in achieving the strategic and tactical objectives of the Company

Key Job Responsibilities
· Deal with all accounting and control matters in the hotel, in accordance with Company policy, statutory requirements and best commercial practice.
· Manage the outsourced accounting service providers to ensure quality, accuracy for monthly reporting’s are maintained and deadlines are met.
· Managing the month end process to ensure accurate and timely completion of management accounts
· Present and explain variances to financial objectives to the General Manager, Owners and relevant Department Heads in a clear and concise manner with recommendations for future corrective action
· Lead the preparation of the annual operating budgets for the properties and provide analytical support during budgets reviews to identify cost saving and productivity opportunities for department heads.
· To prepare monthly forecasts and present for approval.
· Practice effective balance sheet management and ensure reconciliations are completed monthly
· Establish, review and maintain all internal control systems within the hotel in every area of operation, in accordance with Company procedures.
· To prepare Owners reports monthly and as and when required
· Strong liaison with Head of Departments/ GM and offering support and advice on financial decision making.
· to assists and supervise AR/AP and payroll
· Maintain control over cash
· Control debtors by ensuring correct operation of the Company credit policy and debt collection.
· Control petty cash expenditure and maintain the cash float.
· Perform other duties as assigned
· liaise with Auditors on internal and yearly audits

Requirements

Key Requirements:

• German citizen or valid work permit
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Fluent in German and English.
• 2 – 3 years of experience in Finance in the Hospitality Industry or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups to managers, clients, customers, and ownership.
• Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy of information & data
• Must be flexible in approach and able to work independently



NICE TO HAVE:

· Understanding of select service brands
· A good working knowledge of Opera PMS & Marsha
· Knowledge of MARRIOTT Brand Standards
