Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Reservations Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
- Updates availability sheets and distribute once a week.
Ensures all group and wholesale rooming lists are loaded in a timely manner
Ensures all e-mails are screened throughout the day- no previous days emails to be left in inbox and all urgent emails attended to
Updates the boards in reservations with new promotions and important information
May be responsible for the compilation of work schedule of the Reservation Agents, to be checked by Reservations Manager
Is knowledgeable regarding entire Reservations system and process
Allocate daily tasks to Reservations staff .
- Previous experience is an asset
- Previous customer service experience required
Previous Property Manager System experience preferred
Computer experience at intermediate level is mandatory with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word, Access)
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Minimum 2 years’ experience as Reservations Agent at a luxury hotel preferred
Visa Requirements: Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
