Summary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director of Front Office, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Work in conjunction with Housekeeping and Engineering team to ensure that the suites and villas are in immaculate condition at all times in preparation for guest arrival.
Daily communication with Housekeeping and Food & Beverage employees in relation to the needs of current and arriving guests with Butler service.
Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of suites and villas by housekeeping staff to ensure guests are not disturbed unnecessarily.
Handles all flight re-confirmations, dinner reservations wake-up calls etc.
Assist with the training of Housekeeping and Food & Beverage staff on any special requirements related to Butler service guests.
Work closely with all related operations colleagues to ensure guest needs are handled in a timely professional manner.
Work closely with the Food and Beverage department to ensure the guest receives a consistent level of service at each dining experience including all guest preferences are followed accordingly
Unpack and pack personal clothing of guests as requested.
Work closely with other departments to ensure that all guest information and requirements are adhered to.
Act as sales person to maximize room and or transportation revenue (upselling) and promote outlets and other hotel facilities and services.
In addition, other duties as may be required as directed by your Manager
- Minimum 2 years experiences in a butler position in a luxury environment.
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality in relation to guest information.
- Good knowledge of both Rooms and Food & Beverage operations.
Good knowledge of tourist destinations in Bali
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
