About the job

We are currently looking for a Back of House Manager to join the team to oversee the smooth and efficient running of the Back of House Department.

The Role

• To oversee and supervise a small team of people including rota compilation, performance appraisal, coaching, development and recruitment & training
• To ensure consistency in Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and HACCP standards at all times
• Overseeing Goods Receiving team to ensure delivery accuracy, quality and consistency in terms of weights and measures, food hygiene principles, allocation & storage to include stock rotation principles
• Liaison with the heads of department to ensure cleaning standards are being maintained
• To ensure the proper maintenance of all operating equipment within the BOH area
• Ensure that the entire back of house department areas including kitchen areas are clean and tidy, safe to use in line with appropriate health and safety legal requirements
• To minimize hazards by following all safety rules and procedures and that department risk assessments are in place for all tasks and kept up to date and ensure all employees within the department are trained and understand

About you

The Person

• We are looking for a manger with at least 1 year previous experience within a similar role, preferably within a restaurant of hotel that can maintain a high service. You will be a born leader, able to act decisively and always with company standards in mind
• We are looking for a motivated and hardworking individual who is looking to take on a new challenge and work with one of the market leaders in hospitality
  • Language required: English.
