Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Accounts Officer to join the pre-opening team!
Accounts Receivable responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Post, edit, balance and update accounts receivable ledger
  • Liaise with departments regarding all disputed accounts
  • Reconcile all credit card charges to payments received
  • Process account queries and respond to customer queries as required
Accounts Payable responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Ensure invoices and delivery dockets are being matched with corresponding approved purchase order and have adequate authorisation
  • Ensure cheque runs are performed on a timely basis in line with agreed credit terms.
  • Prepare cheque runs for approval, attach all supporting documentation, and present to the Director of Finance and General Manager.
  • Liaise with external suppliers and internal claimants to achieve compliance with systems, procedures and processes.
    Income Audit responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Prepare daily revenue report
  • Review daily rebate vouchers and corrections of the day report to ensure appropriately approved and explained and accuracy of adjustment.
  • Review daily paperwork for each F&B and Front Office cashier to ensure they have properly balanced at the end of their shift
 What we are looking for:
  • Ideally currently be working in a hotel or similar environment
  • Must have advanced level of skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Permanent residency or unlimited working rights in Australia
