We have an exciting opportunity and are currently in search of a Group Sales Account Director to join the Chicago Worldwide Sales Office. The candidate will have a successful track record in the North American group market as well as a passion for increasing market share, growing strategic partnerships, and developing new business. Experience working with the pharmaceutical industry is a strong consideration as this position is focused on this market.

Persuasive and Compelling Communicator: High level of expertise related to delivering presentations, written Communications, iPad presentations, Webinars, etc.
Analytical and Technologically Savvy: with strong technical skills with the following tools: Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, iPad/iPhone, as well as social media skills.
Flexibility for Frequent Travel: is required for this position as the territory spans the Midwest Region. Travel includes sales trips, industry and customer events, and escorting customers on-site inspections as well as program operations.
Experience: 5-10 years of group sales experience in the luxury hotel market, preferably with a focus on handling and understanding the pharmaceutical and intermediary markets based in the Midwest. In addition the position would also focus on other accounts within the Midwest territory.
Education: Completed undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university.
Travel Requirements: Ability to travel approximately 40% of the time (estimated 2 trips per month, average length 3-5 days)
