The role of the Director of Housekeeping
The Director of Housekeeping is responsible for overseeing a large resort housekeeping operation with a variety of room types, residences and villas. The successful candidate will have previous experience with a luxury product, preferably in a resort, and have demonstrated success in managing productivity, daily planning, and strong leadership skills. This position requires an eye for detail, the ability to organize and execute a strategic plan, ensure timeliness, recognize problems and offer practical, effective solutions and communicate well with other departments.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of five years of housekeeping management experience.
