This key position requires an individual who
•Intenational experince with a solid background in italian cusine is required.
•Minimum 5 years management experience in food and beverage operation .
•High Volume, restaurant experience;A stable work history in the previous six years.
•Strong communication, documentation and organizational skills.
•Ability to maintain high levels of food cost and hygiene.
•Knowledge of food and hygiene (HACCP) is required .
•Ability to lead and mentor a team Must be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills.
•Professional appearance demeanor and conduct Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications.
•Able to work varied shifts including holidays and weekendsAble to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment
•Skilled in writing production lists, F&B proposals and requisitionsExperience with purchasing, receiving and inventory control .
•Experience with document and enforcing food safety procedures and workplace safety procedures .
•Skilled in all styles of cooking eg: Italian, French .....etc cuisines.
•Apprenticeship of Certification course from culinary school preferred .
•Financial understanding in food costs and minimizing wastage in the kitchen is required

The company

In 2003, Degips had been subcontracted to participate in the construction of Alexandrian landmark project, San Stefano Complex. The Subcontract work was to manufacture, Supply and construct the gypsum works of Four Seasons Hotel's public areas in the Podium which including Entrances, Reception areas, Lounges, Meeting Rooms, Restaurant, Public Corridors and Prefunction areas, Ballrooms, Restaurants...etc.
This project was a real challenge. We had to find innovative solutions and engineered designs to our work due to congested services implemented. Construction shop drawings was carefully prepared and designed to maintain the aesthetic values of interior design.
Columns, Pilasters, Dados, Raised Panels, Carved Cornices, Moldings, and Rosaces, Ripped Beams, Domes, Straight and Curved Vaults, each detail tells a beautiful story, and makes each space very unique in its character to this iconic project.
