A historical landmark redefining elegance, sophistication and urban luxury, located in Centro Canalejas Madrid and scheduled to open its doors in early Spring 2020.
After a careful restoration, Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, will be home to 200 guest rooms including 39 suites, 22 luxury residences, four restaurants and bars including an expansive roof terrace, a cutting-edge Spa, stylish function spaces and luxury retail.
The Role of Conference & Events Sales Manager:
We currently have an opportunity for a talented Conference & Events Sales Manager to join our pre-opening team! Responsible for booking various group business, as well as all other department staff members who will be involved in carrying out the needs of a group/guests. To research new market opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate companies or organizations likely to produce business for the hotel, and to invite potential users to tour the property and conduct individual tours, highlighting the facilities and services and achieve maximum revenue/profit potential white satisfying client needs. Act as the liaison between the client and the hotel for all of the client needs. (hotel rooms, catering and events, audio visual, transportation, off-site event recommendations). The Catering Sales Manager will coordinate the sales efforts between sales department and catering to ensure proper utilization of function space to yield maximum revenues.
Our Ideal Conference & Events Sales Manager candidate will have:
Our ideal Conference & Events Sales Manager candidate will have at least 2-3-year work experience in catering sales, exceptional attention to detail, strong selling skills and client communication skills. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities, and be willing to accept assignments on as need basis, in order to promote team work. Ability to negotiate and organize and work under pressure, high level of creativity and basic knowledge of audio-visual equipment and Internet technology. Ideally you will also have experience of a new hotel or resort opening, and you must have the legal right to work in Spain and have excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English and Spanish language.
