The Sales and Marketing Department promotes, sells and books business for the hotel. The teams’ goal is to ensure that the hotel operates at maximum occupancy. The Sales Coordinator provides administrative support to the Sales & Marketing team. They follow up on sales leads and inquires, coordinate the planning of amenity arrangements, FAM Trips, Site Inspections, confirm reservations, upgrades and assist the Director of Sales and Sales Managers with any administrative tasks. In addition, the Sales Coordinator provides a variety of reports and maintains multiple informational databases.
We are looking for individuals who possess a high level of professionalism and integrity while maintaining the confidentiality of the office. A solid working knowledge of all MS systems: Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Publisher are required. Working knowledge of Delphi and Opera is strongly preferred. Applicants must also have a high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Sales Administrative or a general Administrative role is required. A Hospitality Management Degree qualification is preferred, however, not essential with relevant work experience.
