Job description

  • Comply with Four Seasons’ Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact. 
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, supervisors and managers.
  • Analyze and listen to guests styling request, taking into account all factors, and recommend hair treatment and/or styling options, which include but are not limited to shampooing, cutting, styling and coloring of hair
  • Listen to make-up requests of guests and work accordingly to their needs. Utilize make-up supplies, which include a variety of tools and colors of make-up kit.
  • To practice and follow all Department of Professional Regulation policies and procedures, including all sanitation and hygiene standards, as well as maintain a clean, professional work area; prepare the work area with the necessary supplies; set up and breakdown of work area as well as turning on and off the lights. (20%)
  • To keep the guest informed of the treatment process while marketing retail items and products being used; utilize the Spa Software program, which includes retrieving their appointments.

STANDARD DUTIES:

  • To ensure you read the Hotel''s Empact handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the Resort’s rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
  • Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
  • To undertake other duties and responsibilities which, while outside the normal routine, are within the overall scope of the position.
  • To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform/attire. To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the hotel and department personal appearance standards.
  • Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
  • To provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.
  • To comply with local legislation as required.
  • To maintain good working relationships with your colleagues and all other departments through working by The Golden Rule.
  • To respond to any changes in the department as dictated by the needs of the industry, company or hotel.
  • To be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments/areas if required, to meet business demands and guest service needs.
  • To attend training and meetings as and when required.
  • To ensure a safe workplace by identifying hazards and taking corrective action.
  • Assist the Spa reception by escorting guests to the appropriate locker rooms and providing an orientation of the area and amenities, including the selling of retail items.
  • Assist the Spa Attendants in retrieving/stocking/folding and generally tidying Locker Rooms and other guest areas.
  • Perform any other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
  • Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
