Job description

An exciting opportunity exists to join our Frankfurt Worldwide Sales team, in the role of Account Director on a 12-month fixed term basis, working either from home or from co-working space. The role, will ideally be based in Germany, but the company will consider other European Union locations, on a case-by-case basis.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic account management for all assigned clients with the goal to increase penetration and revenue
  • Account development with the objective to uncover incremental revenue streams for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts
  • Escorting customers to new destinations throughout the year
  • Regular travel in the market considering given budgets and accessibility
  • Uncovering needs, trends and opportunities in the market place and acting accordingly
  • Planning, organizing and executing global programs such as European Leisure Roadshows, PURE Marrakech and ILTM Cannes

Your attributes for success will be:

  • Strong,  well-developed customer relationship skills
  • Perseverance with the ability to navigate the political and hierarchical structure of an account, its rules and regulations
  • Aptitude for business development – resilient with the ability to influence strategic change and implement a clear segment penetration strategy
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in English (mandatory) and ideally in German
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle several projects/deadlines
  • Self-motivated, yet an enthusiastic team player
  • Strong organizational skills in order to successfully manage the conflicting priorities in a Worldwide Sales Office
  • Leadership Skills - ability to direct and collaborate with on property sales managers and other sales and marketing disciplines
  • Highly developed problem solving skills with the ability to think outside of established norms
  • Effective and compelling communicator with strong presentation skills
  • Creative approach to account management and client interactions
  • Experience in event management and ROI calculations
  • A strong network within the travel, tour operator and MICE segments in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and central Europe
