Check opening procedure details for morning shift and closing procedure detail for evening shift by using checklist To ensure all staff are ready to work 15 minutes before the scheduled time

Re check reservation book throughout the day to ensure all details are updated correctly and co-ordinate effective break times for rest, lunch and dinner. Assist to manage our manning by extending therapist shifts when there is demand from guests and allocate short time when business is slow. To make sure all areas look clean and neat. Make sure all of the equipment and facilities are in good working order and raise a work order if necessary. Assist reception staff to ensure we comply with SOP’s:

Answer any call within three rings and make sure to hold the first call if another call comes in while alone

To answer all guests questions regarding spa services, appointment availability, length and cost of treatment. If you cannot answer a question let the guest know you will get back to them and when. Find out what you need to know from the appropriate person and follow up with the guest.

To ensure every guest is greeted when entering The Spa, if on duty alone and already attending to a guest when someone arrives, excuse from the first guest, let the second guest you will be right with them and continue on with the first guest.

To schedule appointments in such a way that appropriately trained staff are available to handle all bookings.

To politely confirm name, treatment, appointment, time and cancellation policy to all guests before ending telephone conversation.

Interact with guests including the following:

Dealing with guest’s complaints, problems should be solved immediately by offering the appropriate solution and then report to manager and director of spa. If not able to resolve the problem immediately contact director of spa or manager.

Conducting spa tours

Informing, assisting and supporting other department in spa related matter

Assisting spa promotions.

Assisting journalist and photo shoots

Assisting with travel agent site inspections.

To look for opportunities to introduce our retail products to guests and up sell treatments.


To Assist spa manager in making weekly schedule To assist spa manager to prepare an inventory for spa supplies and retail


To assist in the report preparations, including: monthly report, retail inventory and spa product inventory To perform all related job tasks as requested by management.
