Responsibilities
1. To maintain the beverage cost in line with budget by proper recipe control, conducting the month-end inventory and minimizing dead stocks.
2. To fully participate in the development and implementation in all beverage-related operations including Banquet.
3. To plan ahead and take an initiative to organize the bar and beverage trainings
4. To research market opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate companies/organizations specific to the Bar and Beverage market.
5. To develop and maintain all communications on/off line in accordance to brand guidelines and in conjunction with Director of Food & Beverage.
6. To entertain potential and existing clients in F&B operations when required or appropriate.
7. To research and compile accurate and appropriate local guests’ databases.
8. To coordinate digital media campaigns and adhering to brand guidelines.
9. To effectively promote all elements of the Bar and Beverage Operation.
10. The ability to evaluate, solicit, sell and confirm business as required meeting individual goals and overall budgeted beverage sales and profitability.
11. The ability to participate in department meetings and related industry related organizations to represent the hotel and company.
SKILLS AND COMPENTENCIES
· Fluent in English, written and verbal
· Previous experience overseeing Bar or Lounge operation in the luxury hotel within ability to deliver quality of service
· Good understanding of Micros and Avero
