Responsibilities

This position will prepare food items per guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards; complete misen place and set-up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service. They will be responsible for prepping food items, making sure not prepare beyond estimated needs. The Extern will be responsible for operating, maintaining and properly cleaning of all kitchen equipment including but not limited to; deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron and flat top grill. 

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• One year culinary or related education/ work experience and basic culinary knowledge is expected for this position.

• High school education, cooking school or culinary institute education or equivalent experience.

• Proficient knife skills and ability to multi-task.

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
