The role of the Diplomatic & International Sales Manager

Promote and sell hotel guest rooms, suites & services to high-net-worth individuals, royal families, embassies, dignitaries, travel agents and other contacts to meet budgeted sales goals. Create and execute direct sales plan specific to assigned market segment including daily solicitations to new and existing accounts/customers in defined geographic region. Coordinate and record all sales related activity, including regular group & contact profile updates, in Four Seasons systems. Maintain organized and professional plan for business development, future correspondence and follow up. Negotiate contract specifics under the direction of the Directors of Sales & Marketing to achieve maximum profitability while satisfying customer needs.

Generate awareness of hotel property through direct sales efforts, including sales calls and networking groups. Develop accounts (new and existing) by mapping specific business and buying tendencies. Work closely with Four Seasons's Middle East Worldwide Sales Office to solicit, sell, and confirm international, diplomatic, and medical group business from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. Promote awareness via travel to GCC countries and their domestic embassies, providing presentations during personal sales calls and entertaining at local Four Seasons hotels. Maintain and develop strategic relationships with Johns Hopkins Medicine International and other regional partners to promote local awareness and referrals. 

Prior to guest or group's arrival, organize logistics, create and deliver an operational résumé to the hotel staff, and ensure that all operational departments are prepared to meet needs and exceed guest expectations. Greet guests upon arrival regardless of day/time and regularly engage with guests and operations throughout stay to ensure a seamless stay experience. Upon departure, work with Accounting department to prepare final bill and collect payment of final balance.

US work authorization is required unless candidate is currently in a managerial position at a Four Seasons location. Current Four Seasons managers may qualify for L-1 visa sponsorship.  Appropriate candidate ideally speaks both English and Arabic.
