SUPERVISION EXERCISED

DIRECT: Valet Attendant, Doorman, Valet Cashier, Driver

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Supervising the Doorman, Valet Attendants & Cashiers
  • Ensuring all valet tickets are processed and charged correctly
  • Welcoming & greeting guests for their arrival & departure, and throughout their stay
  • Ensuring luggage assistance is properly facilitated for both arrival & departure
  • Ensuring all deliveries to guest are coordinated with the bellman
  • Facilitating the House Car & any further transportation requests
  • Recognizing VIPS in house and getting to know their names and faces
  • Facilitating functions and events that require a high level of incoming cars
  • Preparing payroll for the front services department  


PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a luxury hotel
  • Previous experience in a Rooms Division supervisory position in a hotel is preferred
  • Preferred degree in Hospitality Field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; reading, writing, oral proficiency and basic math computations necessary
  • Excellent human relations skills and the ability to deal positively with stressful situations
  • Computer applications needed are;  Microsoft Office, AVPM, Opera
  • Extensive knowledge of Los Angeles & Directions within the city
